Happy Homeowners: Celebrating Heat Pumps

Troy and Sandra go all-electric!

Sandra and Troy completed the full electrification of their SF Bay Area home this summer. "All gas appliances have been eliminated," said Troy. "What felt like an enormous task was made approachable, simple, and fun with QuitCarbon’s guidance."

The pair was so – well, pumped – that they celebrated with a heat pump ribbon-cutting ceremony! They invited friends, neighbors, press, and the QuitCarbon team to their home to show off their clean energy upgrades:

  • Two high-efficiency heat pumps for heating and cooling
  • Upgraded insulation for improved energy efficiency
  • A new heat pump water heater, replacing the previous gas unit

Congratulations, Sandra and Troy! 🎊

In the News: SF Chronicle Spotlights QuitCarbon

In August, we were delighted to be featured in a San Francisco Chronicle article written by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Katherine Ellison!

Katherine shared her personal "trek" through the often-confusing landscape of clean home energy upgrades, and how much easier it is with a clean energy "sherpa" like QuitCarbon guiding the way. 🏔️
