This credit is available for products purchased and installed between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2025. With the recent enactment of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the tax credits expire after December 31, 2025, spiking demand for this upgrade through the end of the year. Upgrades completed before the cutoff can be claimed as a credit using Form 5695 on 2025 tax returns, filed in early 2026.
