The 3CE Residential Battery Rebate Program offers rebates to help you purchase and install a home battery system. This program allows you to store electricity during the day when it's cheaper and use it during peak hours, saving you money. Rebates are calculated based on your battery size and existing electrical metering rate plan, with potential savings up to $7,800.

More Information
- All residential 3CE customers are eligible for the program.
- To receive the higher rebate amount, existing 3CE customers enrolled in a Net Energy Metering rate must switch to the Solar Billing Plan.
- The battery system must have a capacity between 5 kWh and 26 kWh.
- The battery must be programmed to discharge at least 50% of its capacity daily during peak hours (4 PM to 9 PM PT).
- Applications for systems given permission to operate between August 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026, must be submitted by September 30, 2026.
