The 3CE Residential Battery Rebate Program offers rebates to help you install a home battery system. This program can save you up to $13,000, depending on your battery size. Residents enrolled in CARE, FERA, and Medical Baseline programs qualify for higher rebates. The maximum rebate amount is $5,200.

More Information
- To be eligible, you must be a residential 3CE customer.
- Your battery system should have a capacity between 5 kWh and 26 kWh.
- The battery must be installed permanently at your home; portable batteries are not eligible.
- You need to program your battery to discharge at least 50% of its capacity daily during peak hours (4 PM to 9 PM PT). Exceptions can be made based on individual needs.
- As of April 1, 2026, program participants are required to enroll in 3CE’s Virtual Power Plant when it launches.
- Applications for systems installed between August 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026, must be submitted by September 30, 2026.
- If you are currently on a Net Energy Metering rate, you must switch to the Solar Billing Plan to be eligible.
