CleanPowerSF offers a rebate of $1,200 for upgrading to a clean, efficient water heater. To be eligible, you must be a residential customer of CleanPowerSF, replace your existing water heater with an eligible heat pump water heater, enroll the new water heater in an eligible load shift program such as WatterSaver, and comply with the permit requirements of the Department of Building Inspection.
