Alameda Municipal Power offers a rebate for installing a new, ENERGY STAR-certified heat pump clothes dryer at your residence. This rebate is available to current AMP residential rate customers. The rebate amount is $200, with a maximum of $400 for income-qualified participants. To be eligible, the dryer must be new, installed at your AMP residence, and replace an existing gas dryer. Gas dryers and electric resistance dryers are not eligible. Rebate applications must be submitted within six months of the purchase date. New construction is not eligible for this rebate.
