Alameda Municipal Power offers a $1,500 rebate for homeowners replacing their fossil fuel heating systems with energy-efficient heat pump HVAC units. To qualify, the heat pump must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 16 or higher. This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.
