Alameda Municipal Power offers a $1,500 rebate for homeowners replacing their fossil fuel heating systems with energy-efficient heat pump HVAC units. To qualify, the heat pump must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 16 or higher. This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.

- Rebate cannot exceed 50% of eligible costs per incentive rate category or $50,000 per application.
- Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
- Alameda Municipal Power reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program without prior notice at its discretion.
