- To apply, purchase a pre-owned battery electric vehicle.
- Submit the online rebate application once the purchase is complete.
- Provide a copy of the DMV Bill of Sale and Permanent Vehicle Registration for verification.
- Allow 8 to 12 weeks for the rebate check to be delivered.
- Rebates are issued on a first-come, first-served basis until approved funds are exhausted.
- Rebate applications must be submitted within 6 months of the purchase date.
- Only one rebate per customer account is allowed in any five-year period.
- The purchased vehicle must be registered at the customer's Alameda Municipal Power service address.
- Rebate may be revoked if the vehicle is not registered at the service address for 24 months after the date of application.
