Overview
The APU Heat Pump HVAC Rebate is a rebate program offered by Anaheim Public Utilities to encourage homeowners to upgrade to energy-efficient heat pump systems. This rebate provides $200 per ton, with a maximum rebate of $1,000. To qualify, the new heat pump must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 15 or higher and an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of 12.5 or higher. Additionally, the unit must be ENERGY STAR certified. This rebate applies to replacing existing appliances.
