- Eligibility: Open to all BWP residential customers, including tenants and residents of single and multi-family residences. If you're a renter, your landlord's approval is required. The applicant must be the BWP account holder or an authorized representative.
- Application Process: To apply, download and complete the application, then submit it with all required documents via U.S. mail or in person at BWP’s office. Applications must be submitted no later than six months following the issuance date of finalized permits by the City of Burbank for the installation of the equipment (or six months from the purchase date if a permit is not required).
- Additional Incentives: Low-income residents and affordable housing providers may qualify for higher incentives. To qualify for the Low-Income Resident Rebate Amounts, you must be enrolled in the Burbank Utility Service Subsidy (BUSS) or Lifeline program. Please enroll prior to submitting the rebate application. Customers must also have been approved or re-approved for either program within the past 18 months.
