- This rebate is available to all Burbank Water and Power residential customers, including tenants and residents of single and multi-family residences.
- To qualify, you must agree to the Time-of-Use electric billing rate.
- Rebates are limited to one per residential account.
- Applications must be submitted no later than four months from the date of purchase.
- A qualified electrician will evaluate your home and may recommend an electric panel upgrade to accommodate the new charger.
- The charger must be Level 2 (240V) and utilize the SAE J1772 charging plug or Tesla’s High Power Wall Connector.
- The EV must be DOT approved for highway application.
- Golf carts, neighborhood carts, motorcycles, electric scooters, bicycles, and other low-speed vehicles are not eligible.
