The City of Albany offers a Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate to help residents upgrade to energy-efficient systems. Rebates range from $500 to $3,000, depending on household income. All Albany households are eligible for a $500 rebate, while moderate-income households (80% to 120% of the area's median income) can receive $1,500, and low-income households (below 80% of the median income) are eligible for $3,000.
