The City of Boulder offers a Utility Rebate Program for heat pumps and mini-split heat pumps. Homeowners can receive a rebate of up to $2,400 for installing energy-efficient systems. You can earn $600 for an air source heat pump rated at 16 SEER and 9 HSPF, $1,200 for 18 SEER and 10 HSPF, and $2,400 for 20 SEER and 11 HSPF and above.This rebate only applies to replacing existing appliances.
