City of Palo Alto Utilities is offering a $1,000 rebate to help homeowners improve insulation, enhancing home comfort and energy efficiency.

  • Only available as an add-on to an appliance upgrade rebate.
  • Insulation must meet R-30 values for attic insulation or R-19 for Eichler homes and homes with a flat roof.
  • Rebate is calculated at $0.75 per square foot.
