The City of Piedmont offers a $750 rebate for homeowners installing a ductless mini-split heat pump. If you qualify as a low-income resident, you can receive an additional $750, totaling $1,500. To be eligible for the low-income bonus, you must participate in the CARE or FERA programs, reside in deed-restricted affordable housing, or provide a copy of your tax returns. This rebate applies to replacing existing gas furnaces with energy-efficient heat pump systems.
