The City of Ukiah offers a rebate for installing a mini-split heat pump system. This rebate provides $300 per unit, with a maximum of $1,500 per household. To qualify, the heat pump must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 16 or higher and an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of 13 or higher. This means the system should have a SEER2 of 15.3 or higher and an EER2 of 12.5 or higher.
