Additionally, you can earn a monthly bill credit of 50 dollars for two years after the upgrade, with the possibility of extending this credit by referring others.This rebate only applies to replacing existing appliances.

To qualify for the Water Heater Upgrade Program, you must meet the following requirements:- Replace an existing gas or electric resistance water heater with an ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heater.
- Enroll the new water heater in any demand response program, such as OhmConnect or Automated Response Technology. You can also enroll in an authorized load shift program like WatterSaver if it reopens.
- The upgrade must be permitted and inspected, which is highly recommended. Your QuitCarbon-referred contractor will ensure this happens.
