QuitCarbon is excited to share the GO ZERO: Heat Pump Heating and Air Conditioning Rebate, a program offering homeowners up to $1,500 for installing an ENERGY STAR® certified heat pump. This rebate is available for installations completed on or after June 24, 2025, and is limited to one rebate per dwelling. To qualify, your building must have fewer than five attached units, and the heat pump must already be installed.

- To qualify for the $1,500 rebate bonus, you must reside within an overburdened community designated by areas identified under Senate Bill 535. You can search for your home address and see if it is in a qualifying location using the Cal Enviro Screen website.
