The IID Level 2 EV Charger Rebate is a program offered by the Imperial Irrigation District to encourage homeowners to install Level 2 electric vehicle chargers. This rebate provides up to $500, covering 50% of the total cost for purchasing and installing a qualifying charger. To be eligible, the charger must be wall or pedestal mounted and utilize the SAE J1772 connector or Tesla's High Power Wall Connector. Portable or 110V-compatible units do not qualify. The rebate is available for purchases and installations completed between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025. Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2025.
