Overview
Island Energy offers a rebate for the installation of a Level 2 (240-volt) electric vehicle charging station. This rebate covers parts, installation, and permitting costs, up to a maximum of $600. To qualify, installations must be performed by a qualified electrician. Please note that installations prior to July 1, 2015, are not eligible for this rebate.

More Information
- To apply, complete the Electric Vehicle Incentive Program application and provide the following documentation:
- Proof of vehicle registration showing your electric vehicle or hybrid is registered at your service address.
- Evidence that your vehicle has an electric range exceeding 30 miles per charge, such as a portion of the owner's manual or marketing material.
- Receipts for all costs associated with the charging station installation, including purchase, parts, installation, and permitting.
- A copy of your Building Permit Card with final approval from the Building & Safety Department of the City of Vallejo.
- Applications can be submitted online, by mail or drop-off at the Island Energy office at 440 Walnut Avenue, Vallejo, CA 94592, or via email to landerson@ci.pittsburg.ca.us.
