Island Energy offers a rebate for the installation of a Level 2 (240-volt) electric vehicle charger. This rebate can cover up to $600 of the costs for parts, installation, and permits. To qualify, installations must be performed by a qualified electrician.

More Information
- To apply, complete the Electric Vehicle Incentive Program application and provide the following documents:
- Proof of vehicle registration showing your electric vehicle or hybrid is registered at your service address.
- Documentation confirming your vehicle has an electric range exceeding 30 miles per charge.
- Receipts for all costs related to the charging station installation, including purchase, parts, installation, and permits.
- A copy of your Building Permit Card with final approval from the City of Vallejo's Building & Safety Department.
- Installations completed before July 1, 2015, are not eligible for this rebate.
- Applications can be submitted online, by mail, or via email. For mail or in-person submissions, send your application and receipts to Island Energy at 440 Walnut Avenue, Vallejo, CA 94592. For email submissions, send to landerson@ci.pittsburg.ca.us.
