Rebate Overview
Overview
Island Energy offers a rebate of up to $600 for the installation of a Level 2 (240-volt) electric vehicle charging station. This rebate covers the costs of the charging station, installation, and permitting. To qualify, installations must be performed by a qualified electrician and inspected by a utility technician. The maximum rebate amount is $600 or the actual verified cost of the installation, whichever is less. Please note that installations prior to July 1, 2015, are not eligible for this rebate.
Benefits
Installing a Level 2 EV charger at home makes charging your electric vehicle more convenient and efficient. It can also increase your home's value and appeal to future buyers.
