Overview

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) offers a rebate for homeowners who install qualified central heat pump systems. This rebate provides $300 per ton of capacity, with a maximum of $1,500 per unit. To qualify, the system must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER2) of 15.2 or higher and a Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF2) of 7.7 or higher.
