The LADWP Used EV Rebate Program offers rebates up to $1,500 for qualifying used electric vehicle purchases. Residents in homes enrolled in the Lifeline or EZ-SAVE financial assistance programs can receive up to $4,000. This rebate can significantly reduce the cost of owning a used electric vehicle.

- Eligibility: Applicants must reside in a home served by LADWP. Vehicles must be purchased within 12 months of application and be on the approved vehicle list. The model year should be at least two years older but not older than eight years compared to the application year. For example, if applying in 2025, the vehicle model year must be between 2017 and 2023. Only one rebate per vehicle is allowed. If a rebate was previously issued for the same vehicle, a second rebate can be applied for after 24 months. Members of the same household who received the first rebate are not eligible for a second rebate on the same vehicle.
