QuitCarbon is excited to share the Level 2 EV Charger Rebate offered by Lodi Electric Utility. This rebate provides up to $500 for purchasing a new Level 2 electric vehicle charger and up to $500 for installation and permitting costs, totaling a maximum of $1,000 in savings. To qualify, the charger must be wall or pedestal-mounted and not portable.

More Information

  • Rebate is available to Lodi Electric Utility residential customers who are current on their utility charges.
  • Limit one rebate per charger and one rebate per installed meter per residence.
  • Receipts and invoices must be dated within six months of application.
  • Charger installation work must be performed by an electrician with a valid C-10 license.
  • Eligible electrical upgrades may include a new 240-volt outlet, a new 240-volt circuit, and/or a new or upgraded panel.
  • Installing a Level 2 charger requires a permit from the City of Lodi. Building permit applications may be submitted in person at City Hall at 221 W Pine Street, Lodi 95241.
