To qualify, split systems must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER2) of 15.2 or higher, an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER2) of 11.7 or higher, and a Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF2) of 7.8 or higher. Package units must meet a SEER2 of 15.2 or higher, an EER2 of 10.6 or higher, and an HSPF2 of 7.2 or higher.
