The Mini-Split Heat Pump Rebate is a program offered by the Modesto Irrigation District to encourage homeowners to install energy-efficient mini-split heat pumps. To qualify, the unit must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER2) of 15.2 or higher, an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER2) of 11.7 or higher, and a Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF2) of 7.8 or higher. Eligible customers can receive a rebate of $350 per unit.
