The NREN Ceiling Insulation Rebate is a program that helps homeowners save up to $930 when they update their ceiling insulation. By adding R-19 insulation to existing insulation, resulting in a total of over R-30, or by installing new insulation with an R-value greater than 30, you can qualify for this rebate.

  • Eligibility: This rebate is available to residents within the Sierra Nevada service territory, including Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Lassen, Mariposa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, Tuolumne, and Yuba counties.
  • Income-Qualified Applicants: If you qualify based on income, you may be eligible for higher rebate amounts.
  • Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted within 90 days of equipment installation.
  • Contractor Information: For assistance with installation or to find a qualified contractor, please contact the Northern Rural Energy Network.
