The NREN Ceiling Insulation Rebate is a program that helps you save up to $930 when you update your ceiling insulation. By adding R-19 insulation to your existing ceiling, you can achieve an R-30 rating, or you can install new insulation with an R-value greater than 30.

- This rebate is available to residents in Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Lassen, Mariposa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, Tuolumne, and Yuba counties.
- Rebates are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and may change depending on available funding.
- Installations in new construction or home additions that add more than 30% square footage to the home are not eligible for rebates.
- Used, refurbished, or rebuilt equipment is not eligible for rebates.
- To apply, submit a complete application package within 90 days of equipment installation.
- Income-qualified applicants may be eligible for higher rebate amounts.
