Overview
The Orange County Power Authority's Residential Battery Rebate Program offers a $1,000 rebate to eligible homeowners who install a qualifying battery energy storage system. To qualify, you must have purchased your battery system on or after July 14, 2025, and it must be an approved model by the state, with a capacity of at least 5 kilowatt-hours. You can only receive one rebate in total.

- Rebate payments will be processed and disbursed within 30 business days of application approval.
- Participants must submit the permission-to-operate documentation issued by Southern California Edison within six months of claim approval.
