Peninsula Clean Energy offers a rebate for homeowners upgrading to a heat pump water heater. If you're enrolled in the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) or Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) programs, you can qualify for an additional $1,000 bonus rebate when you apply for your heat pump water heater upgrade. This means you could receive a total of $3,500 in rebates for your upgrade. This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.

- Peninsula Clean Energy reserves the right to change the rebate levels at its sole discretion and will provide advance notice if levels are to change. When rebate amounts change, the applicable rebate amount is based on the installation date.
