Peninsula Clean Energy offers a rebate for homeowners replacing their gas water heaters with heat pump water heaters. You can save $2,500 when upgrading to a new heat pump water heater that replaces your old gas water heater. If you have two water heaters to upgrade, you can save up to $5,000, one per water heater. This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.
