Overview

The PG&E Residential Charging Solutions Rebate Plus Option offers a rebate for homeowners who purchase an EV charger. If you bought an EV charger after November 17th, 2023, and meet income qualifications, you can receive an additional 50 percent of the purchase price. This means you could potentially get a free EV charger! The maximum rebate amount is $2,000, and you can only receive either this rebate or a $5,000 rebate for a charger plus a panel upgrade.
