Overview
The PSREC Mini-Split Heat Pump Rebate is a program offered by Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative to encourage homeowners to upgrade to energy-efficient mini-split heat pumps. To qualify, the heat pump must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER2) of 15.3 or higher and a Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF2) of 7.7 or higher. The rebate amount is $250 per ton, with a maximum rebate of $1,250 or 50% of the total cost, whichever is less.
