The PWP Heat Pump Rebate is a program that offers homeowners a rebate of $170 per ton when they purchase and install a qualifying heat pump or mini-split heat pump. If you buy your unit in Pasadena, you can receive an extra $20 per ton back. To qualify, the heat pump must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio 2 (SEER 2) rating of 15.3 or higher and a Heat Seasonal Performance Factor 2 (HSPF 2) rating of 7.8 or higher. This rebate applies to both new and replacement installations.
