Overview
The PWP Level 2 EV Charger Rebate is a program offered by Pasadena Water and Power to encourage homeowners to install Level 2 electric vehicle chargers. This rebate provides $200 for standard (non-Wi-Fi enabled) chargers and up to $600 for Wi-Fi enabled chargers. Portable chargers do not qualify.

- Rebate amounts: $200 for standard chargers; up to $600 for Wi-Fi enabled chargers.
- Portable chargers do not qualify.
- Rebate is available to Pasadena Water and Power residential electric customers.
- Level 2 chargers must be wall-mounted and permanently hardwired to the electrical service.
- Charger must be UL listed or ETL listed.
- Charger must operate at 240V or 208V and utilize the standard J1772 charging port.
- Charger must be capable of delivering at least 6kW charging capacity.
- Charger must be network-connected and capable of reporting energy usage data to Pasadena Water and Power on request.
- Rebate is available for purchases made after January 1, 2025.
- Rebate application must be submitted within 60 days of home charger installation.
- One rebate per qualified single-family residence within a 5-year window.
