QuitCarbon is excited to share the Used EV Rebate offered by Riverside Public Utilities. This rebate provides up to $1,000 for the purchase or lease of a used Battery Electric or Plug-In Hybrid vehicle after January 1, 2023. Qualified low-income customers enrolled in RPU's SHARE program can receive an increased rebate of up to $2,500!

More Information
- Applicants must be active Riverside Public Utilities electric customers.
- The vehicle must be registered at the applicant's service address.
- The vehicle must be purchased from a commercial used vehicle auto seller.
- Applicants must provide a copy of the purchase or lease agreement and current California Department of Motor Vehicles registration.
- Applications must be submitted within 180 days of purchase.
- Only one EV Rebate per household is allowed every three years.
- Vehicles must be approved for highway use; electric scooters, bicycles, golf carts, and low-speed vehicles are not eligible.
- Rebates under $500 will be applied as a bill credit; rebates of $500 or more will be mailed as a check within 6-8 weeks.
