Overview
Riverside Public Utilities offers a rebate for purchasing or leasing a used electric vehicle. You can save up to $1,000 on a used Battery Electric or Plug-In Hybrid vehicle bought or leased after January 1, 2023. If you're enrolled in RPU's SHARE program, you may qualify for an additional rebate, bringing your total savings up to $4,000!

More Information
- To qualify, you must be an active Riverside Public Utilities electric customer.
- The vehicle must be registered at your service address.
- Purchase the vehicle from a licensed California used vehicle dealer.
- If you're enrolled in the SHARE program, you can receive the increased rebate.
- Provide a copy of the purchase or lease agreement and current DMV registration.
- Submit your application within 180 days of purchase.
- Only one rebate per household every three years.
- The vehicle must be approved for highway use; certain vehicles like electric scooters and golf carts are not eligible.
- Rebates are subject to fund availability.
