Overview
The San Diego HEART Electric Stove Low Income rebate is a program designed to help eligible residents replace their gas stoves with electric ones. This initiative is part of the Home Electrification Affordability Rebates and Technical Assistance (HEART) program, which offers up to 100% coverage for permits, appliance disposal, new appliance purchases, and labor costs. To qualify, households must have been impacted by severe flooding in San Diego from December 2023 to January 2024 and earn less than 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Additionally, applicants must reside within Communities of Concern in the City of San Diego. To determine if your home qualifies, use the City of San Diego Climate Equity Index map.
