To qualify, residents must use a contractor approved by the program, and all work must be approved before starting. Additionally, the program is available to households impacted by severe flooding in San Diego from December 2023 to January 2024 and earning less than 80% of the Area Median Income within the City of San Diego. To determine if your home is located in an eligible area, enter your address in the City of San Diego Climate Equity Index Map. This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.
