The San José Clean Energy EcoHome Rebate for Cooking Circuit Prewiring offers homeowners up to $500 to support the installation of electrical work for a new electric cooking appliance. If you're part of CARE/FERA, meet income limits, or reside in a qualifying community, you can save an additional $250, totaling up to $750. To qualify, you must apply for a funding reservation before your project installation starts. This rebate applies only to circuit pre-wiring to support an electric range or cooktop. A zero-interest EcoHome payment plan of up to $5,000 is also available.
This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.
