Overview
The San Jose Clean Energy EcoHome Rebate offers a $1,000 rebate for upgrading your electric panel. If you're part of the CARE or FERA programs, meet income limits, or live in a qualifying community, you can save an additional $1,000. To qualify, the electric panel upgrade must be combined with other electrification upgrades, such as a heat pump water heater, heat pump heating and air conditioning system, or home battery storage system. Also, you must apply for a funding reservation before your project installation starts.
