The San José Clean Energy EcoHome Rebate: Harvest is a rebate program that helps you save up to $3,500 on a Harvest system when upgrading your air conditioning, heating, and water heating systems. If you're part of CARE/FERA, meet income limits, or live in a qualifying community, you can save an additional $2,000. To qualify, your home must provide both heat and hot water. Zero-interest payment plans up to $5,000 are also available.

- Rebates are available for heat pump water heaters, heat pump HVAC equipment, and battery storage equipment.
- Original gas equipment must be removed, and the existing gas line capped to receive the heat pump core rebates.
- Add-on rebates for electric panel upgrades, insulation, and prewiring are available when paired with a core rebate.
- Battery storage core rebates are capped at 26 kWh storage capacity per site and must be paired with new or existing solar generation.
- Rebates are limited to 10 installation sites per applicant per year, except for Environmental Justice Community-qualified applicants.
- Rebates may be paid directly to eligible contractors or installers at the applicant's request.
- Applicants are responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and rebates may be taxable.
- After installation, the property owner owns the rebated equipment.
