The San Jose Clean Energy EcoHome Rebate: Heat Pump Heating and Air Conditioning is a rebate program that helps you save money when upgrading to a heat pump system. By replacing your old gas furnace, you can receive up to $1,500 back. If you're part of CARE/FERA, meet income limits, or live in a qualifying community, you could save an additional $1,000. An interest-free EcoHome payment plan of up to $5,000 is also available.

More Information
- To qualify, your installation address must be associated with an active San Jose Clean Energy residential rate account without an overdue balance.
- The installation site must be a single-family home, mobile or manufactured home, accessory-dwelling unit, or a multi-family building with 10 or fewer units.
- You can apply for one rebate per equipment type per dwelling unit.
- Only new equipment listed in the program's Equipment Specifications qualifies.
- The program is effective upon the City's approval of your enrollment and remains in effect until 5 years after program completion, or earlier termination in accordance with the agreement.
