The San José Clean Energy EcoHome Rebate: Mini-Split Heat Pump Heating and Air Conditioning is a rebate program that helps you save money when upgrading to an energy-efficient mini-split heat pump system. By replacing your old gas furnace, you can receive a rebate of $1,500. If you qualify for the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) or Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) programs, meet certain income limits, or live in a qualifying community, you may be eligible for an additional $1,000, bringing your total rebate to $2,500.
