- The vehicle must be a new or used battery-electric vehicle; plug-in hybrids are not eligible.
- The vehicle's price must be under $60,000.
- Customers enrolled in the California Alternate Rates for Energy Program (CARE), the Family Electric Rate Assistance Program (FERA), or Clean Cars for All are automatically eligible.
- Starting October 1, the rebate will expand to customers earning under 100% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
- Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
