- To be eligible, applicants must be active customers of Santa Barbara Clean Energy with an account in good standing.
- Homeowners must own single-family homes, duplexes, townhomes, or mobile homes served by Santa Barbara Clean Energy.
- Mobile and manufactured homes must be individually metered.
- Applicants must continue to receive Santa Barbara Clean Energy’s generation service at the location where the upgrades will be installed for a minimum of five years from the date of installation.
- An opted-out customer may re-enroll in Santa Barbara Clean Energy to participate in its programs. By re-enrolling and applying for Santa Barbara Clean Energy programs, customers agree to remain enrolled in Santa Barbara Clean Energy service for five years.
- Rebates are available for one mini split heat pump system per electric account per fiscal year.
- Rebates are available for one associated electrical work per electric account per fiscal year.
