Overview
Sonoma Clean Power offers a $700 rebate for homeowners upgrading to a heat pump water heater. To qualify, the new unit must have a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of 3.43 or higher and be Wi-Fi capable. Specific models, including SANCO2 and 120V Wi-Fi-enabled units, are eligible. This rebate applies to replacing existing fossil fuel water heaters.

- Program rules, rebates, and eligibility may change at any time.
- Installation address must be an SCP account.
- Project must be submitted within 90 days of project completion.
- Customers are eligible for one water heating rebate per account.
- New construction is not eligible, with the exception of fire rebuilds.
- To receive free induction cookware, customers should contact our Customer Center to arrange pickup after the rebate has been approved. Customers have 14 days to collect their cookware.
- Customers may opt to allocate $25 of their rebate to a Community Partner of their choice. Personal information won't be shared with the Community Partner unless requested. Please note, donations are not tax-deductible.
- Dual fuel systems are ineligible for rebates.
