Sonoma Clean Power offers a rebate of $1,000 for homeowners upgrading to a heat pump system. This rebate helps reduce the cost of making your home more energy-efficient and comfortable.
This rebate only applies to replacing existing fossil fuel appliances.

More Information
- Rebate applications must be submitted no more than 90 days after project completion. For most projects, this will be the date listed on your finalized permit.
- Heat pump systems paired with a gas heating element are ineligible for rebates.
- Customers are eligible for one rebate per appliance type per account number.
- New construction is not eligible, with the exception of fire rebuilds.
- To receive free induction cookware, customers should contact our Customer Center to arrange pickup after the rebate has been approved. Customers have 14 days to collect their cookware.
- Customers may opt to allocate $25 of their rebate to a Community Partner of their choice. Personal information won't be shared with the Community Partner unless requested. Please note, donations are not tax-deductible.
