Silicon Valley Power offers the Home Battery Rebate, a rebate program for residential customers. This program provides up to $2,700 for battery storage systems integrated with a solar system. Batteries must have a capacity of at least 3 kilowatt hours to qualify. Income-qualified customers may receive additional incentives. This rebate is available to Silicon Valley Power residential customers who install a battery storage system after July 1, 2024. To apply, submit the rebate application and all required documentation online within 60 days from the date of purchase or final permit date. One rebate per Silicon Valley Power service address.
