Silicon Valley Power offers a Home Battery Rebate for low-income customers. This rebate provides an extra $2,000 for those enrolled in the Financial Rate Assistance Program and an additional $2,000 for customers meeting LIHEAP income qualifications. More Information
- To qualify for the bonus rebate(s), you must be enrolled in the Financial Rate Assistance Program and/or Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program prior to the date of purchase. Income verification must have been provided within the prior 12 months.
- Qualifying appliances must be installed and operating in an existing residence receiving electricity from Silicon Valley Power. New construction is not eligible.
- When applicable, obtain a necessary permit through the City of Santa Clara Permit Center. Proof of permit issuance must be submitted to receive the rebate.
- Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
- Silicon Valley Power reserves the right to verify both the new appliance sale and installation before a rebate is issued. Approval is at the sole discretion of Silicon Valley Power.
- One rebate per Silicon Valley Power utility service address per measure every ten years.
- Rebates valid for purchases made with United States currency only.
