Silicon Valley Power offers a rebate for homeowners installing battery storage systems integrated with solar panels. This incentive provides up to $2,700, covering $0.15 per watt-hour of the system's capacity. Income-qualified customers can receive an additional $2,000 if enrolled in the Financial Rate Assistance Program and another $2,000 if they meet Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program income qualifications, totaling up to $6,700 in savings. To qualify, the battery system must have a capacity of at least 3 kilowatt-hours and be purchased and installed after July 1, 2024.
