Silicon Valley Power offers a rebate for upgrading your main electrical panel to support additional load from installing a Level 2 electric vehicle charger or converting a natural gas appliance to an eligible electric appliance. If you qualify based on income, you can receive up to an extra $1,000 off! - To qualify for the income bonus, you must meet the income requirements set by Silicon Valley Power's payment assistance program.
- Rebate applications must be submitted within 60 days from the date of final permit approval.
- Rebates are valid for purchases made with United States currency only.
- Limit one rebate per Silicon Valley Power service address.
- New construction projects are ineligible for this rebate.
- Customers who previously received a rebate for an electric panel upgrade within the previous 5 years are ineligible for this rebate.
