This upgrade helps manage increased energy use from converting gas appliances to electric ones or adding a Level 2 electric vehicle charger. Income-qualified customers may receive an additional $1,000, totaling $3,000, and those meeting LIHEAP income qualifications could receive up to $4,000. - Applications must be submitted within 60 days from the date of final permit approval.

- Limit one rebate per Silicon Valley Power service address.

- Customers who previously received a rebate for an electric panel upgrade within the previous 5 years are ineligible.
- Rebate amounts cannot exceed the cost of the panel upgrade, including parts and labor, and do not include taxes or shipping costs.
- Silicon Valley Power reserves the right to verify installation before issuing a rebate.
- Rebates are subject to change or termination without prior notice.
